Trade Now   MARKET WRAP: Stocks, Bonds, Commodities   On Thursday, U.S. stocks closed mixed. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 53 points to 34,987, while the S&P 500 declined 14 points to 4,360, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 was down 105 points to 14,794. Shares in the utilities, household & personal products, and banks sectors gained the most, while shares in the semiconductors, energy and automobiles sectors were under pressure. American International Group (AIG) rose 3.6%, US Bancorp (USB) gained 3.2%, and Best Buy (BBY) was up 1.9%. Meanwhile, Teleflex (TFX) plunged 9.8% and NVIDIA Corp (NVDA) slid 4.4%. The U.S. 10-year Treasury yield dropped 4.7 basis points to 1.299%. Regarding U.S. economic data, the latest initial jobless claims amounted to 360,000 (vs 350,000 expected). Industrial production grew 0.4% on month in June (vs +0.6% expected). The Empire State manufacturing survey posted at 43.0 for July (vs 18.0 expected). European stocks closed lower. Both Germany's DAX 30 and France's CAC 40 fell 1.0%, and the U.K.'s FTSE 100 lost 1.1%. U.S. WTI crude futures dropped $1.6 to $71.49 a barrel. Gold price added $2 to $1,829 an ounce. Trade Now   MARKET WRAP: Forex      The U.S. dollar strengthened against other major currencies. The ICE dollar index advanced to 92.58. EUR/USD dropped 26 pips to 1.1811. GBP/USD declined 37 pips to 1.3823. U.K. official data showed that the latest jobless rate rose to 4.8% from 4.7% previously. AUD/USD slid 61 pips to 0.7420. Official data showed that Australia's employment increased 29,100 in June (vs +20,000 expected), and the jobless rate fell to 4.9% (vs 5.1% expected). USD/JPY fell 14 pips to 109.83. Japan's central bank is expected to hold its key interest rate unchanged at -0.100%. USD/CHF rose 25 pips to 0.9178, and USD/CAD jumped 89 pips to 1.2598. Bitcoin dropped 3.6% to $31,600, and Ether fell 3.4% to $1,920. Alternative scenario: Above 1.3850 look for further upside with 1.3870 & 1.3890 as targets. Comment: As long as 1.3850 is resistance, look for choppy price action with a bearish bias.   Trade Now     EUR/USD Intraday : the downside prevails   Pivot: 1.1830 Our preference: Short positions below 1.1830 with targets at 1.1790 & 1.1770 in extension. Alternative scenario: Above 1.1830 look for further upside with 1.1850 & 1.1865 as targets. Comment: The RSI advocates for further decline.   Trade Now     GBP/JPY intraday : rebound towards 152.69 *Our pivot point stands at 151.43*   Our preference: Rebound towards 152.69. Alternative scenario: The downside breakout of 151.43 would call for 150.96 and 150.67. Comment: The RSI is below 50. The MACD is negative and above its signal line. The configuration is mixed. Moreover, the price stands below its 20 and 50 period moving average (respectively at 151.96 and 152.07). Trade Now       USD/CAD Intraday: further upside   Pivot: 1.2550 Our preference: Long positions above 1.2550 with targets at 1.2630 & 1.2660 in extension. Alternative scenario: Below 1.2550 look for further downside with 1.2525 & 1.2500 as targets. Comment: The RSI is bullish and calls for further advance. Trade Now        GBP/AUD intraday : as long as 1.8584 is support look for 1.8685 *1.8584 is our pivot point*   Our preference: As long as 1.8584 is support look for 1.8685. Alternative scenario: The downside breakout of 1.8584 would call for 1.8549 and 1.8529. Comment: The RSI is above 50. The MACD is below its signal line and positive. The pair could retrace. Moreover, the price is above its 20 and 50 period moving average (respectively at 1.8620 and 1.8564).   Trade Now        EUR/JPY Intraday : the downside prevails.   Pivot: 130.00 Our preference: Short positions below 130.00 with targets at 129.40 & 129.20 in extension. Alternative scenario: Above 130.00 look for further upside with 130.20 & 130.40 as targets. Comment: The RSI lacks upward momentum.   Trade Now           AUD/USD Intraday: target 0.7380   Pivot: 0.7450 Our preference: Short positions below 0.7450 with targets at 0.7405 & 0.7380 in extension. Alternative scenario: Above 0.7450 look for further upside with 0.7470 & 0.7490 as targets. Comment: As long as the resistance at 0.7450 is not surpassed, the risk of the break below 0.7405 remains high.   Trade Now

Trade Now   MARKET WRAP: Stocks, Bonds, Commodities          On Monday, U.S. stocks advanced further pushing major indexes to record-high closes. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 126 points to 34,996, the S&P 500 rose 15 points to 4,384, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 increased 51 points to 14,877. Investors appeared to be optimistic about quarterly corporate earnings which are to be released starting this week. Shares in the automobiles, semiconductors and banks sectors gained the most. Tesla (TSLA) jumped +4.4%, NVIDIA Corp (NVDA) rose 2.3% and JPMorgan Chase (JPM) was up +1.4%. Meanwhile, Didi Global (DIDI) sank 7.2%, and Virgin Galactic (SPCE) slumped 17.3%. The U.S. 10-year Treasury Yield edged up to 1.361%. European stocks also closed higher. Germany's DAX 30 rose 0.7%, France's CAC 40 gained 0.5%, while the U.K.'s FTSE 100 was little changed. U.S. WTI crude futures was flat at $74.11 a barrel at close. Gold price eased $2 to $1,805 an ounce. Trade Now   MARKET WRAP: Forex      The U.S. dollar was stable against other major currencies, as the ICE dollar index edged up to 92.23. EUR/USD dropped 15 pips to 1.1861. GBP/USD declined 18 pips to 1.3883, and AUD/USD was down 9 pips to 0.7479. USD/JPY rose 20 pips to 110.34. Official data showed that Japan's core machine orders rose 7.8% over month in May (vs +2.6% expected). Producer prices grew 5.0% over year in June (vs +4.8% expected). USD/CHF added 4 pips to 0.9151, and USD/CAD was up 7 pips to 1.2454. Bitcoin fell 3% to levels below $33,000, and Ether plunged 5% to levels just above $2,000. USD/CHF plunged 104 pips to 0.9151, while USD/CAD gained 52 pips to 1.2533. Bitcoin lost traction sliding down to levels below $33,000, and Ether returned to levels below $2,200. Alternative scenario: Below 1.1845 look for further downside with 1.1830 & 1.1815 as targets. Comment: The RSI calls for a rebound.   Trade Now     GBP/JPY intraday : as long as 152.82 is support look for 154.02 *Our pivot point stands at 152.82*   Our preference: As long as 152.82 is support look for 154.02. Alternative scenario: The downside breakout of 152.82 would call for 152.38 and 152.11. Comment: The RSI is above its neutrality area at 50. The MACD is positive and below its signal line. The pair could retrace. Moreover, the price is trading above both its 20 and 50 period moving average (respectively at 153.19 and 152.99).   Trade Now       USD/CAD Intraday: under pressure   Pivot: 1.2490 Our preference: Short positions below 1.2490 with targets at 1.2420 & 1.2390 in extension. Alternative scenario: Above 1.2490 look for further upside with 1.2515 & 1.2540 as targets. Comment: The RSI is bearish and calls for further decline.   Trade Now        GBP/AUD intraday : rebound towards 1.8629 *Our pivot point stands at 1.8521*   Our preference: Rebound towards 1.8629. Alternative scenario: The downside breakout of 1.8521 would call for 1.8482 and 1.8458. Comment: The RSI is below 50. The MACD is negative and above its signal line. The configuration is mixed. Moreover, the price is trading under both its 20 and 50 period moving average (respectively at 1.8559 and 1.8567).   Trade Now        EUR/JPY Intraday : as long as 130.60 is support look for 131.43  *Our pivot point stands at 130.60*   Our preference: As long as 130.60 is support look for 131.43. Alternative scenario: Below 130.60, expect 130.29 and 130.11. Comment: The RSI is above its neutrality area at 50. The MACD is below its signal line and positive. The pair could retrace. Moreover, the price is above its 20 and 50 period moving average (respectively at 130.87 and 130.77).   Trade Now           AUD/USD Intraday: towards 0.7520   Pivot: 0.7450 Our preference: Long positions above 0.7450 with targets at 0.7495 & 0.7520 in extension.
